# Synthetic consultant evidence — journal control attributes

Authority: synthetic consultant confirmation for test use only.

The governed finance ledger export contains two entry-grain text attributes:

- `Ledger.JournalSource` identifies the originating journal channel, including
  sub-ledger, recurring, allocation and manual-journal sources.
- `Ledger.ApprovalStatus` records whether a journal is approved, pending or
  rejected at the time of the finance export.

The bounded Power BI semantic-model audit did not observe either attribute in
the current model. This note confirms source availability, not implementation
in Power BI.

The synthetic accountable owner is the Finance Systems Lead. Any phase-two
implementation should preserve ledger-entry grain, reconcile record counts to
the governed extract and document how late approval changes affect refresh.
